We are a cooperative family farm with 5 shareholders, and 3 generations contributing. From our flock of 700 breeding sheep, we had almost 1000 lambs, all born by the end of May. The moms birthed on the greening pastures, tree-shaded, by the lake. About 24 miles of electric fence protect them with the help of 16 Guard Dogs including 5 puppies in training. We also have 2 Border Collies who help us with herding and handling the sheep.
Our early spring shearing yields several thousand pounds of raw wool, which is shipped to P.E.I. to be washed and gently processed, then returned to us in yarn and wool products.
Through The Wool Shed on the home farm, and this web site, we offer these and other products to you.
